Pplications are invited from suitably qualified professionals with experience working with Children and Families to undertake the role of Functional Family Therapist joining the Family Support Services Team on the beautifulIsland of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
This is a full-time post of 37.5 hours which are worked over the course of weekdays and may include several evenings to suit the availability of the families you support.
You will hold UK professional registration with knowledge and undertake a period of Supervision and assessment over the course of a year.
You will join a team of five Functional Family Therapists, including one Supervisor and support up to eight familes and work with the Case holding Social Worker from the Children in Need, Safeguarding or Youth Justice teams.
The Functional Family Therapy Team is a newly developed service area within Children & Family Community Services
You will be trained in the Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare (FFT-CW) licenced model.
