The examination function provides a high-quality service to all students at Preston College. We would like to increase our team of reliable and flexible exams invigilators to assist with both paper-based and on-screen examinations throughout the year. We are looking for individuals who can promote a supportive atmosphere for our students so that they achieve their best, as well as ensuring the security of the examination, before, during and after the examination. Responsibilities will include: Preparing the rooms prior to examinations in accordance with regulations Setting up on-screen tests, distribution of scripts and supervision of students during examinations Ensuring the integrity and security of the examinations and all relevant paperwork Successful candidates must be numerate and literate, with good communication, digital and organisational skills. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. We operate an exams timetable throughout the year, with the summer term being our busiest period.
