Overview
Project Manager - Utilities Enhancements at AWE – leading utilities projects across our Estates and Liabilities team. Location: RG7 4PR (Aldermaston site) with free onsite parking. Package: Starting at £48,030 (depending on suitability, qualifications and experience). This role requires awareness of nuclear license conditions and may involve delivering at pace to support the AWE mission. Some remote working is possible with on-site requirements as needed.

Responsibilities
* Work with Utilities Network Managers to define, initiate and deliver projects.
* Act as a focal point for AWE stakeholders and suppliers.
* Manage projects with focus on Governance (compliance and reporting).
* Manage project resources (people, money).
* Lead the planning of the task/project.
* Lead, support and initiate change against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
* Lead, initiate and perform risk and opportunity identification and subsequent actions.
* Engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
* Fulfil other reasonable duties aligned to the role as required by business needs.
Qualifications and experience
* Clear background in project management with adaptability to deliver across power, water, heating and other utilities.
* Experience working within the Utilities arena; understanding of Utilities Operations is advantageous.
* Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
* Ability to read, analyse and interpret charts, spreadsheets, schedules and technical drawings.
* Clear and concise communication, both oral and written, at multiple levels.
* Experience compiling and presenting to peers and Senior Managers.
* Ability to build team morale, motivate others, and manage priorities under pressure.
Essential requirements
* Willingness and ability to attend AWE on site to build and maintain high-quality teams and stakeholder relationships (remote working options available).
* Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance. British citizenship required; UK residence for past 5 years for SC clearance and 10 years for DV clearance.
