The hourly rate for this role is £13.32 and up to £15.05 across selected locations within London.
About the opportunity
As a Relief Dispenser, you will work across different stores within a defined geographical area. You will be a key member of our pharmacy team, supporting the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy and healthcare services.
Within the healthcare department, you will build relationships with patients, greeting customers, dispensing prescriptions, and providing advice to support their health and wellness. Your role will make a difference daily.
Key responsibilities:
1. Prescription dispensing, ensuring the safe supply of medicines, including ordering, labelling, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
2. Assist in managing and delivering pharmacy services with healthcare professionals.
3. Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as needed.
4. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for safe and legal dispensing.
5. Stay updated with new innovations and comply with operational processes.
6. Support patients in managing their prescriptions and medicines effectively to promote adherence and reduce waste.
7. Communicate with store teams to ensure continuity of care.
8. Work with evolving technologies to improve dispensing processes and patient safety.
You will receive regular training to develop your healthcare knowledge and have career development opportunities, including training as a Pharmacy Technician or store leadership.
Requirements:
* Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
* Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
Preferred:
* Experience working in community pharmacy.
