We're looking for a skilled and motivated OT Team Manager to join a dynamic Occupational Therapy Team in the West Midlands. In this role, you’ll be supporting individuals with complex disabilities to regain and maintain independence in their homes — making a real difference in their quality of life every day. What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Delivering client-centred Occupational Therapy interventions to promote independence and wellbeing
2. Supporting individuals through complex assessments, including major and minor housing adaptations, reablement, and moving & handling strategies
3. Supervising and mentoring OT Assistants and other team members
4. Providing training, guidance, and specialist advice to families, carers, and professionals
5. Contributing to safe and timely hospital discharges and community transitions
6. Conducting independent mobility assessments, including for Blue Badge provision
7. Working with clients in a variety of settings, including prison-based assessments
8. Promoting innovative, cost-effective solutions to enhance client independence
What We’re Looking For:
9. Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
10. At least 2 years’ post-registration experience
11. Strong assessment and report-writing skills
12. A solid understanding of disability-related legislation and OT best practice
13. Experience in one or more of the following: housing adaptations, moving & handling, or paediatric/complex equipment
14. Confidence working in homes and multi-agency environments
15. A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
16. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential car user allowance available)
