Your new role
The Materials Planner will be responsible for planning and managing materials for a specific part families. This role is crucial for ensuring that materials are available when needed to support production schedules and ensuring production orderpletion is aligned to the schedule while maintaining optimal inventory levels by liaising with engineering, procurement, manufacturing engineering and production schedulers. Analyse production schedules and forecasts to determine material needs and procurement timelines. Monitor inventory levels, identifying potential shortages or excesses, and rmend actions to optimise stock levels.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 3 years experience in materials planning, inventory management or supply chain roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Experience inplex project-based manufacturing is highly desirable. Proven track record of successful production planning and scheduling. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills. Strong understanding of materials' management principles, inventory control and production scheduling.
