Overview
The Environment Agency is committed to an inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We are establishing a Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to drive change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We’re seeking two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team. You will analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping set the standards for benefits and value management and embedding them across the organisation. You will help our teams to identify, value and validate project benefits. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from your team.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio.
* Help set the standards for benefits and value management and embed them.
* Identify, value and validate project benefits.
* Support change, transformation and continuous improvement across the business.
Experience / Skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Proven experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills, able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and encourage consideration of diversity issues in work.
* Development opportunities and appropriate training provided.
