About the role

What we’re looking for
We seek candidates to hold an RTPI accredited degree or a similar relevant degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning or Built Environment.
We look for graduates who can demonstrate:
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem‑solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and think outside the box
Work experience in Town/Urban Planning would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning on the job with support from our Graduate Training Scheme.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Town Planner you will: 1) work closely with the Planning team in the delivery of wide‑ranging planning consultancy services on a variety of projects and schemes; 2) prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications and statements; 3) support public consultations and site visits; 4) provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies; 5) gain valuable experience across a range of sectors and clients to support your development.
