About us:
We are committed to supporting over 60 autistic adults across Fife, providing personalised care across a variety of settings including Day and Housing Support Opportunities. We tailor our support to each person’s individual preferences and needs, providing the right level of assistance - including 1:1 or 2:1 support - so that each person can live well and thrive. We are looking for colleagues to join our Housing Support Team.
We’re looking for patient, confident, and engaging colleagues who bring a calm, reassuring presence – who also know how to have fun. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who truly listens and values the voices of the people we support.
Key responsibilities:
1. Continuously develop and implement personalised support plans with the supported people, their support network, and other stakeholders to ensure their life goals and aspirations are the main focus,
2. Build positive relationships with the supported people,
3. To support people to take part in their chosen activities,
4. Be an active part of their local community and live as independently as possible,
5. Complete all tasks necessary to maintain their home and be able to support personal care needs with compassion.
As part of your role, you will be required to undertake shift work, including weekends and evenings, so flexibility towards working hours is key. There are physical elements to this role. Shifts are typically built into a 4-week rolling rota – so you’ve got these in advance!
