Job summary

Main duties of the job

As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a safe living and working environment, reporting any changes in residents' condition, supporting with ordering and preparing supplies, and establishing links with the local community.

* About the role: Support the Wellbeing Coordinator by providing activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social well-being.
* Other responsibilities include:
* Maintaining a safe environment and contributing to the professional image of the home.
* Reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
* Supporting with supplies for activities.
* Building links with the community to promote intergenerational activities.


About you

To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability. The ideal candidate:

* Has effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Understands the importance of interaction in well-being.
* Has a positive attitude towards older people and a commitment to providing stimulating activities.
* Previous experience working with older adults in a residential or dementia setting is preferred.

* An ADBS Disclosure check, paid for by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
