As BSI embarks on an exciting transformation journey to become future proof, we are expanding our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) capabilities and recruiting for 2 brand-new Group FP&A Managers to enable business optimisation using accurate data and insights through Forecasts and Plans:-
i. Group FP&A Manager
The Group FP&A Manager is responsible for the design and provision of accurate, impactful and insightful reports through visuals and presentation, including Broad and CFO reports, enterprise KPIs and outputs of FP&A processes.
The role will also include the analysis of the performance and initial insights driven from the data and reports for review with the Head of FP&A. Immediate delivery will focus on the FP&A consolidated reporting that supports the FP&A activities, which will drive data coherence and consistency, identifying process automation opportunities and supporting the change and transformation agenda.
This role will suit accountants who have solid FP&A experience, with strong analytical, data and presentations skills. As a gatekeeper of the business from a Group perspective, the role will see the overall business performance and will require strong business acumen and proactively strive to provide data insights for commercial optimisation to lead the growth of the business. The role will also handle ad-hoc requests from the CFO on analysis, projects and investigations, making the role more diversified and rewarding.
ii. Group FP&A Manager – Transformation
Our second Group FP&A Manager – Transformation role focuses on bringing together the FP&A transformation streams, acting as a key point of contact to align reporting, KPI, Investment appraisal and standardisation streams supporting the change and transformation agenda.
Being a key member of the team running and developing the Group Multi Statement financial model as well as the Investment model and benefits tracker, this role will require strong financial modelling capability. As a key member of the Group FP&A team, you will also provide core provision of accurate, impactful and insightful reporting which supports presentations and analysis delivering management and board material as directed by the Group Head of FP&A and Business Insights.
This Transformation role will appeal to accountants who have FP&A experience, along with strong financial modelling and appreciation to the positive impact the change and transformation will bring to the business through reviewing of business cases and tracking of benefits. You will also closely partner with the EPM and Data Analytics teams to ensure mutual understanding on data domain & data model to ensure reliable automation and consistency on report delivery.
To thrive in these roles, you have:
1. A chartered accountant qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with practical FP&A or Commercial Finance experience.
2. Experience in providing excellent financial planning with strong numeracy, analytical and modelling capabilities.
3. Strong commercial astute, with excellent storytelling skills in interpreting and explaining business performance to challenging senior leaders.
4. Strong competency with Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau/PowerBI.
5. Resilience in a matrixed multinational organisation and a constantly changing environment.
Both Group FP&A Manager roles are permanent opportunities, with hybrid working arrangements (once-twice a week, with Tuesdays being our Group Finance’s core office day) based in our Group Corporate office in Chiswick, London.
