About the Role Teach Now is seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Examinations Officer to join a thriving secondary school in Dacorum, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or data specialist looking to take on a pivotal role in supporting the smooth running of the school’s examination and assessment processes. As the Examinations Officer, you will be responsible for the administration, organisation, and coordination of all internal and external exams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with awarding body regulations. You will also manage key data systems, maintain records, and support senior staff with analysis and reporting to aid school improvement. Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate all aspects of the examinations process (GCSE, A-Level, and internal assessments)
* Liaise with exam boards, invigilators, staff, and students to ensure seamless exam delivery
* Manage data input and ensure the accuracy of examination entries and results
* Support data analysis and reporting across the school, maintaining confidentiality at all times
* Provide administrative support related to student performance, assessments, and school records
About You We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience as an Examinations Officer, Data Manager, or in a similar administrative role within education
* Demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills
* Is confident with school management systems and data handling (SIMS or equivalent experience desirable)
* Works accurately under pressure and meets deadlines with ease
* Is professional, discreet, and has a strong eye for detail
