We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and talented Chef de Partie to join our esteemed culinary team at the Haymarket Hotel. As a Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring timely and high-quality dishes.
Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
Monitor and manage stock levels within your section, placing orders as needed to maintain inventory.
Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards, ensuring the kitchen remains clean and well-organised.
Contribute to menu development, bringing creativity and innovation to our culinary offerings.
Maintain excellent communication with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
What you Need:
Previous experience in a similar role within a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
A genuine passion for food and a keen eye for detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a small team.
Demonstrated ability to manage stock levels and place orders efficiently.
A proactive and positive attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
