A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST CHEF AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
· Be
the friendly face that welcomes guests, making their first impression
unforgettable.
* Prepare
and cook a range of breakfast dishes to menu specification
* Prepare
the breakfast buffet and replenish as required throughout breakfast
service
* Prepare
for any conferences and events taking place within the hotel
* Assist
with preparing the kitchen for lunch and dinner service
* Ensure
all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and
presentation
* Maintain
cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation
areas
* Follow
all food safety and health and safety regulations
· Help
with washing dishes
· Checking
off deliveries and ensuring items are put away in the correct order
· Go
the extra mile for special requests, adding that extra touch to make guests’
stays memorable.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
· A
welcoming personality who loves connecting with people and making their day
brighter.
* Proven
experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant
setting
* Excellent
knowledge of breakfast dishes and cooking techniques
· Strong
communication skills, comfortable chatting with guests and coordinating with
team members.
· Sharp
attention to detail, especially when it comes to handling guest needs and
reservations.
· A
problem-solver who can think on their feet, handling any situation with a
positive attitude.
· Team
spirit, ready to jump in wherever needed to keep things flowing smoothly.
· High
energy and adaptability, thriving in a fast-paced environment where no two days
are the same.
