Description
The successful candidate is likely to have the following responsibilities:
Lead the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
Manage cash flow, payroll, and financial operations, ensuring effective controls are in place to support business needs.
Oversee and review balance sheet reconciliations, income statements, and variance analysis, providing clear commentary and actionable insights.
Partner with the Finance Director to shape financial strategy, supporting long term planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Provide senior management with financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
Supervise and mentor the internal finance team, building capability and ensuring best practice across financial processes.
Review and enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks, recommending improvements to support scalability and efficiency.
Act as a key finance business partner, translating financial information into meaningful insights for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.Profile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)/QBE with experience in management accounting and financial control.
Strong technical skills and proven ability to manage complex financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency with financial systems (Sage, Xero, or similar), with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor junior team members.
Commercially astute, detail-driven, and able to balance operational oversight with strategic perspective.Job Offer
