Technical Project Manager – IAM
London
Outside IR35 - 6 Month Contract
We are working with a leading managed services organisation on a major infrastructure programme. They’re looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong Identity & Access Management experience to take ownership of a critical workstream within a wider transformation.
This is a client-facing role, suited to someone comfortable operating in complex environments, driving delivery, and engaging with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
What you’ll be doing
• Owning the IAM workstream end-to-end across planning, delivery, and governance
• Working closely with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders to shape and deliver IAM solutions
• Driving implementation across technologies such as Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager, SSO, MFA, File Access Management, ABAC and RBAC
• Ensuring alignment to security and compliance frameworks including GDPR and ISO 27001
• Managing timelines, risks, dependencies, and resources across multiple workstreams
• Leading workshops and producing key documentation across design, testing, and handover
• Supporting audit and risk activities with clear documentation of controls and remediation
What they’re looking for
• Proven experience delivering technical projects within infrastructure or security
• Strong understanding of IAM principles, including lifecycle management, SAML and LDAP
• Experience working with IAM tools and access control models
• Familiarity with Terraform, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Ansible or similar tooling
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile and/or ITIL environments
• Comfortable leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced delivery settings
Nice to have
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience
• Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or CIAM
• Exposure to Zero Trust and modern cloud security practices
