HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of Health and Safety, not just oversight.
The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience with radiation and/or radioactivity, including creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for developing new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is primarily remote, with the expectation to travel to each site approximately once per month. Flexibility to travel within the UK is essential. A car or car allowance will be provided as part of the benefits package.
Initially, in the first 6 months, 3 days on-site at a South-East Surrey facility will be required to address immediate challenges.

Key experience includes:
* Established HSE / Health and Safety professional with practical experience
* Experience in radioactive settings (not necessarily pharmaceuticals)
* IRR17 experience and radiological risk assessments
* Hands-on approach with the ability to engage at all levels of the business
