We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering environment delivering complex structural steel projects across the UK. The role involves designing steel structures, producing engineering calculations, and supporting major infrastructure, commercial and industrial developments within a highly skilled technical team.
This position would suit a highly experienced Structural Design Engineer with a strong background in structural steel design who enjoys working on technically demanding projects. It would particularly appeal to engineers who thrive in collaborative environments and want to contribute to large-scale, high-profile construction and infrastructure schemes.
Key Responsibilities
* Design structural steel frames, members and connections for a range of projects
* Produce engineering calculations using both manual methods and industry software
* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and project teams to resolve technical queries
* Attend project meetings and ensure designs meet technical standards and project requirements
* Support junior engineers and contribute to the development of the wider design team
