Room Leader | Full Time | Up to 40 Hours Per Week

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Room Leader to guide our team in delivering our enriching ethos and curriculum to children and families. Our nursery operates from 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and we need someone flexible to work varied shifts within these hours.
Your Role as a Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development.
* Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
* Assist staff in maintaining high-quality updates on the EyLog system and children's learning journals.
* Lead by example, promoting respect and consistency in your role.
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments and identify staff training needs.
* Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with all regulations.
* Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
* Ensure adherence to the statutory framework for the EYFS.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (Essential)
* Over 1 year of experience in Early Years (Essential)
* More than 6 months in a senior position (Desirable)
* Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating (Desirable)
* Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements (Essential)
* Fluency in written and spoken English (Essential)
