Role: HGV Class 1 Driver Location: St Helens Pay: £200 - £250 per day, £30 per night out Benefits: Full-time position, 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays Schedule: Various positions available. Monday to Friday or 4 on 4 off. Drivers will cover 2-3 nights out per week. Start times may vary - we pride ourselves on punctuality and flexibility. The role sometimes involves multidrop and ratchet strapping to secure the load. Successful candidates will be started within 1 week of interview & assessment. Responsibilities: Secure load for transit Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles Maintain accurate records of deliveries Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Comply with company policies and procedures Requirements: 3 years Class 1 Driver experience Clean driving record (maximum 6 points on License) Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Successful candidates will need to provide a reference from their previous employer.
