Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing essential administrative support. This position requires a blend of organisational skills, computer proficiency, and excellent communication abilities to manage various office tasks effectively. We can be flexible on hours ie to suit School hours, for the right candidate.
Duties
* Ensuring the smooth functioning of the office, and general tidiness
* Recording maintenance for property, plant, vehicles and equipment
* Processing firewood orders and planning delivery schedules
* Assisting with plant hire orders
* Processing time sheets and managing the wage roll
* Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Process invoices
* Support the preparation of reports as needed
Requirements
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience in Microsoft Applications – Excel, Word and SharePoint
* Experience in Sage
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible, versatile and/or tolerant in a changing work environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency
* Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks
* UK Driving license and able to travel to the office
