We are looking for a national Clinical Lead to support the Centre for Sustainable Delivery’s Symptomatic Breast Sub-Speciality Delivery Group. This role will provide professional expertise on the development, design and delivery of the work of the CfSD in relation to the Symptomatic Breast Sub-Speciality Delivery Group.
The Clinical Lead will work in partnership with the Project Manager, National Associate Directors and Associate Clinical Directors within the Centre for Sustainability to build on the work currently underway. Current work is focused on development of Once for Scotland approaches within NHS Scotland by providing strategic leadership and support for clinical teams to test innovative ways of working and facilitate pathway redesign opportunities, which can be shared and implemented at scale across Scotland.
This role will support redesign that is underpinned by high quality, credible and internationally respected clinical advice. This would inform practice consistent with high professional standards and with our approach to Realistic Medicine.
The role will require someone who can act authoritatively as a change agent and display the highest professional standards, with experience of working with executive and senior managers across NHS Scotland.
