Electrical Engineer / Electrical Panel Fitter (Full-Time) Bangor, Co. Down £12.21£14.50 per hour - 40 hours per week - On-site (Belfast & site work as required) Role Overview As an Electrical Panel Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of switchgear, control panels, and distribution equipment. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, technical skill, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Assemble switchgear, control panels, and distribution equipment Carry out steelwork assembly and component positioning/mounting Perform copper work, including busbar mounting, cutting, bending, and punching Install mains and control wiring, including metering Follow all Health & Safety procedures in line with company policies Conduct on-site installation and maintenance work when required (may include work outside normal hours) Work collaboratively with colleagues and support the training of apprentices/trainees Essential Criteria Minimum 12 months experience in electrical panel building Full UK driving licence Ability to work additional hours at short notice Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Good communication and teamwork skills Desirable Criteria ONC or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering Hours of Work MondayThursday: 8:00am 5:00pm Friday: 7:00am 1:00pm Pay £12.21£14.50 per hour, depending on experience Benefits Free on-site parking Supportive team environment Skills: electrical panel building electrical drawings installation of switchgear
