The company's wide portfolio of building services benefit the local community and include both speculative market and housing association new build developments, education sector contracts such as schools and colleges, and health sector projects including hospitals and GP surgeries. The RoleWith guidance and support from the Commercial Director, you'll be responsible for a range of commercial duties including: Assessing commercial viability of tender enquiriesPreparing detailed cost estimates for commercial and residential projects of up to £5M in valueEvaluating specifications and drawingsWorking closely with designers, consulting engineers, subcontractors and suppliers in order to accurately assess costsMonitoring financial progress and provide regular cost reportsNegotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors Submitting monthly valuations Working closely with project teams on site to assess progress Use of construction-specific commercial software
