This is a key role in ensuring our school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and well‑maintained for our children, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager in the day‑to‑day maintenance and operation of the school premises
* Carry out basic repairs
* ensure the school site is clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety procedures
* Act as a designated key holder, providing out‑of‑hours and emergency access to the school site, and assisting with security, including opening and locking the premises
* Liaise with contractors and support site projects as required
Qualifications
* Have practical maintenance or caretaking experience
* Are proactive, flexible, and able to work independently
* Have a good understanding of Health & safety procedures
* Are approachable, trustworthy, and a good team player
