Job Summary
7am-6pm, 7 days over a 2 week rota.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elder Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to elderly residents within a care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents’ comfort and well‑being, and fostering a respectful and caring environment. Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
* Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction
* Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Experience
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy are vital qualities for success in this role.
