Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on an interim basis. This role will focus on a balance sheet reconciliation project while supporting some BAU Accounts Receivable activities. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Perform balance sheet reconciliations, with a focus on Accounts Receivable.
2. Investigate and resolve transaction duplications, debit/credit mismatches, and aged items.
3. Support BAU AR tasks, including cash allocation, query resolution, and ledger maintenance.
4. Work closely with finance and operational teams to identify root causes and implement process improvements.
5. Assist in clearing suspense accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Skills and Experience
6. Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and balance sheet reconciliation.
7. Strong attention to detail and ability to work throughplex data sets.
8. Experience in troubleshooting discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
9. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
10. Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar) is desirable.
