The Castle @ Theale is seeking a Mental Health Worker to provide essential support in collaboration with The Castle @ Theale, to deliver the Mental Health Support Offer. Role And Responsibilities As a Mental Health Worker, you will: Work closely with the Emotional Health Academy Manager to ensure effective delivery of mental health support. Provide direct support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Collaborate with educational professionals to identify and address the mental health needs of individuals. Deliver group interventions and workshops on topics such as resilience, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. Signpost students and their families to appropriate external services for additional support. Skills And Attributes The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Experience in providing mental health support to young people. Knowledge of common mental health issues and appropriate interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and professionals. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. A positive and empathetic approach, demonstrating understanding and compassion towards the challenges faced by students.
