Job Title: Regulated Water Lead - Engineer (Principal Engineer / Technical Director level)
Salary: Circa £60,000-£75,000(Dependent on experience)
Location: Leeds
Type: Permanent, Full Time - Hybrid

About the Role:
Our client is looking to strengthen its position within the regulated water sector and is seeking a senior-level engineering professional to play a key role in delivering and shaping major UK infrastructure programmes.

This is a strategic position offering involvement across full project lifecycles, from feasibility and front-end design through to detailed design and construction support. The successful candidate will contribute both technically and commercially, influencing programme delivery and supporting wider sector growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project and programme delivery across full UK water project lifecycles (feasibility through to construction support)
Support technical teams to meet programme, budget and quality targets
Prepare briefs, scopes of work and contribute to bid proposals
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and supply chain partners
Ensure compliance with quality standards, Safety in Design (CDM) and environmental legislation
Manage contracts, budgets, change and risk
Produce project reports and technical documentation
Champion digital innovation and continuous improvement
Mentor junior engineers and support professional development
Potentially act as Delegated / Supervising Civil Engineer within ICE training schemes
What Our Client is Looking For:

Degree (or equivalent) in Civil or Structural Engineering
Chartered Engineer status (or substantial progress towards chartership considered)
Experience delivering projects for regulated UK water clients and contractors
Strong end-to-end project management experience
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Commitment to innovation and quality improvement
Full UK driving licenceDesirable:

Experience mentoring engineers towards professional qualification
Experience working within Office 365 and SharePoint environments
