SIG Distribution - Southampton are recruiting for a Trade Counter / Internal Sales Executivea key role at the heart of our branch team. What s the role? As Trade Counter / Internal Sales Executive, you will be the face of SIG to our customers and help the branch to develop and maintain new sales opportunities, helping customers at the trade counter with sales enquiries and pro-actively targeting both new and existing customers. It is a role that will see you collaborating closely with the warehouse team to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time. Regularly engaging with our external sales force, following up on all sales quotes and leads in a timely manner, record activity and utilise internal systems accurately. You ll also input orders onto our system and maintain our sales records. Times of work: 7am - 4pm What You ll Bring: Experience in a trade counter or internal sales environment (sales or purchase order processing experience would be desirable Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service Accuracy, attention to detail, and good numeracy Comfortable using IT systems and maintaining records What we offer: Competitive salary 25 days holiday 8 bank holidays.
