The Product Marketing Director is a strategic leader who oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of all product marketing efforts. This role requires the development of overarching product marketing strategies, leading a team, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Act as the bridge between product development, sales, and the market. They’ll need to know the software inside out, understand the customers’ pain points, and communicate the value effectively across all channels. Develop and drive product marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
Conduct research and competitive analysis as needed.
Ownership for ICP and persona development and maintenance.
Ongoing monitoring and measuring of sales plays for improvements.
Establish input and output metrics to measure the success of product marketing initiatives.
Manage and mentor a team of product marketing professionals
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
~8+ years of experience in product marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
~ Strong leadership, team-building, and management skills.
~ Expertise in product positioning and competitive analysis.
~ Experience with B2B Enterprise marketing strategies.
