Part-Time HR Advisor (12-month fixed term contract)
An exciting opportunity has arisen at our client for an HR Advisor to join a small and busy team on a part-time basis for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a great role for a capable and forward-thinking HR Advisor looking to increase their skills in a fantastic company.
The salary for this role is £21,000 (£35,000 FTE) and the hours are 21 per week.
Our client is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to support the implementation of projects and initiatives, and assist with onboarding and recruitment during a period of growth. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing guidance and advice to line managers and employees on HR issues such as employee relations, performance management, absence management, and policy interpretation.
2. Supporting employee relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence management, in line with company policies and employment law.
3. Assisting with recruitment processes, including job advertisements, interview coordination, and reference checks.
4. Supporting new starters with onboarding procedures.
5. Ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed and helping to update them according to current legislation and best practices.
6. Promoting employee wellbeing initiatives and ensuring employees are aware of available support resources.
7. Maintaining accurate employee records, managing HR databases, and assisting with HR reporting as required.
8. Supporting various HR projects, such as implementing HR software or employee engagement initiatives.

HR Advisor Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior HR advisory, recruitment, and onboarding experience. Excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, and a proactive approach to supporting projects and initiatives are essential to support the wider workforce and colleagues.
