Band 8b Clinical Lead – CAMHS Job Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Lead to join our CAMHS service, providing strategic and clinical leadership for the Emotional and Behavioural Pathway. This senior role offers the opportunity to shape service delivery, support staff development, and ensure high-quality care for children, young people, and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide visible leadership and oversee clinical practice within the Emotional and Behavioural Pathway.
* Support and supervise staff through regular supervision, appraisal, and multidisciplinary discussions.
* Ensure timely assessment, formulation, and care planning, including risk management and co-designed treatment plans.
* Collaborate with the Psychological Professional Lead, Head of Service, and partner agencies to improve referral flow and pathway efficiency.
* Promote evidence-based practice in line with NICE guidance and embed the i-Thrive framework across the service.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with governance, safeguarding, and audit requirements.
* Contribute to service development, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives.
