The Graduate Finance Assistant role They looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join the growing finance team. Youll report directly to the Finance Manager and play a key part in keeping the accounts running smoothly, focusing on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations. What youll do Youll work alongside a collaborative, high-energy team to keep financial records accurate and up to date, including: - Ensure accurate and timely issue of sales invoices and follow up on outstanding balances (Accounts Receivable) - Process supplier invoices and staff expenses and ensure timely payment runs (Accounts Payable) - Engage with suppliers and resolve queries - Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations - Assist the Finance Manager with month-end procedures and reporting - Support with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed - Build relationships with colleagues across the business, acting as a friendly point of contact for finance queries. What were looking for in the Graduate Finance Assistant candidate - A Graduate in a Finance & Account related subject e.g. Finance & Accounting, Business Studies (anything with an Accounting element) - Ideally studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, AAT, ACCA) or previous experience in similar role passion and positive attitude are just as important. - Organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn - Strong knowledge of MS Excel and comfortable with accounting software (no worries, well train you!) - Good communicator who enjoys being part of a team.
