Overview

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Digital Project & Content Manager to oversee client website builds from start to finish.

This is a client-facing role responsible for managing timelines, coordinating content, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

You’ll act as the central point between clients, internal processes, and an outsourced development team, ensuring nothing slips and projects move forward smoothly.

This is a part-time role (half day, 5 days per week) with the potential to grow as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership

* Take full ownership of client website projects from onboarding through to launch
* Manage timelines, milestones, and ensure deadlines are met
* Keep projects moving forward without requiring constant oversight

Client Communication

* Act as the main point of contact for clients during website builds
* Provide regular progress updates
* Request and gather content, assets, and feedback
* Manage expectations and maintain a professional, proactive communication style

Content & Asset Coordination

* Source relevant images for client websites
* Use AI tools to generate images where required
* Use AI tools to generate and refine website content
* Ensure all content aligns with brand tone and is suitable for conversion-focused websites

Website Content Updates (CMS)

* Make simple updates to website pages using a CMS such as WordPress
* Duplicate existing pages and update content, images, and layout where required
* Upload and format content clearly and accurately
* Ensure pages are consistent with design and structure guidelines

Note: This is not a development role. No coding or technical experience is required.

Quality & Conversion Focus

* Ensure all websites follow internal conversion-optimised design principles
* Review content and layouts with a focus on clarity, structure, and performance
* Maintain a high standard across all client projects

Third-Party Coordination

* Communicate with outsourced development teams
* Brief developers clearly on new builds, updates, and changes
* Ensure all work delivered meets requirements before being sent to clients

Ideal Candidate

* Experience managing website or digital projects (agency experience preferred)
* Strong client communication skills and confidence handling stakeholders
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and outcomes
* Comfortable using AI tools for content and image generation
* Familiar with using CMS platforms such as WordPress (or confident learning quickly)
* Good understanding of website structure and user experience (no coding required)
* Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality work

Working Structure

* Part-time: Half day 9am - 12.30pm, Monday to Friday
* Remote
* Ongoing role with potential to grow into a larger position over time

Salary

* £35,000 pro rata

What Success Looks Like

* Projects are delivered on time without delays
* Clients are consistently informed and not chasing updates
* Development team always has what they need to move forward
* Content and assets are organised, complete, and high quality
* Website pages are updated accurately and efficiently
* The overall delivery process runs smoothly without bottlenecks

Additional Notes

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning projects, working directly with clients, and being responsible for ensuring things get done properly.

You’ll be given clear processes and systems, but success in this role depends on your ability to take ownership, communicate effectively, and keep projects moving forward independently.
