The role involves carrying out tasks related to safety & environmental controls to meet the site's environmental regulatory compliance obligations, statutory inspections of all plant, and ensuring the site meets its legal obligations in line with business requirements and governing bodies (HSE, L8).
Your responsibilities include leading and managing the conformance element of the department, ensuring all legal compliance is met professionally with all supporting data controlled. You will also plan and coordinate inspection schedules and legionella control, liaising with all plant leads across facilities.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As the Site Conformance Engineer, you should have working knowledge of plant engineering and building services activities (gas, water, air & electricity – HV & LV). Additionally, you will:
* Have working knowledge of EAW, PUWER, LOLER, PSSR regulations
* Possess good knowledge and certification in legionella control and management of systems
* Have good knowledge of Building Management Systems
* Be familiar with Heating, Ventilation, and compressed air systems
* Understand maintenance practices and processes
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To succeed, you'll need:
* To manage and deliver scheduled safety inspections on all equipment and plant
* To control and manage all paperwork and data for inspections
* To update the BES portal for inspections and control delivery across the business
* To hold regular meetings with technology teams for updates and plant control
* To oversee and coordinate site compliance activities – statutory conformance – EAW, LOLER, PUWER & PSSR
* To develop and implement a statutory conformance master schedule & manage inspection programs
