Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Operations Controller to work within a small, professional team responsible for managing European gas portfolios. As an Operations Controller you will monitor and control energy flows using bespoke in-house systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and reliability at all times.
As an Operations Controller you will work in an office-based, screen-focused environment, making operational decisions on behalf of clients and communicating effectively by phone and email. Comprehensive training and continuous support are provided to help you succeed.

Duties
* Monitoring Gas and Power Portfolios: Manage energy flows across European networks using in-house systems
* Operational Decision-Making: Take responsibility for accurate, high-value operational actions on behalf of clients
* Data Management: Record, verify and report data using internal software and documentation
* Client Communication: Liaise with customers via email and telephone, providing timely and professional updates
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to coordinate operations effectively across shifts
* System Operation: Use bespoke software to manage entries and exits at network points such as production sites and storage facilities
* Problem Solving: Identify issues and follow defined procedures to ensure service continuity
* Compliance: Follow all operational, safety, and quality guidelines
* Continuous Learning: Participate in regular training and development opportunities
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* Conscientious and proactive with excellent attention to detail
* Comfortable working with numbers and using Microsoft Office applications
* Able to communicate clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues
* Capable of working under pressure and following defined procedures
* Team player with initiative and adaptability
Desirable
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Previous experience in operations, logistics, or energy-related roles
