With 20 years of experience in advocacy, The Borgen Project has supported the passage of numerous bills benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
PR/Marketing Programme: This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the programme in fewer weeks.
The role focuses on raising awareness of our work and includes:
* Creating a branding campaign
* Conducting informal focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
* Pitches story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media
* Creating and implementing a fundraising strategy
* Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
* Utilizing social media and developing strategies for web-based messaging
* Assisting with The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts
Experience: No prior experience necessary. We are looking for passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty and advocating for change, regardless of GPA or background.
Details: This is an unpaid programme, although college credit may be available.
Start Date: New programmes begin monthly; you can choose your start month.
