Business Analyst Responsibilities
* Analyse business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Document application, software, infrastructure, integration points, data, information, security, regulatory and operational requirements.
* Organise, specify and model business requirements to ensure they are accurate, complete and aligned with statutory, regulatory and quality standards.
* Apply requirements gathering, process mapping and modelling techniques to support business change and system implementation.
* Present improvement proposals to technical and managerial stakeholders using recognised formats.
* Maintain process maps, specifications and documentation to support development programmes.
* Evaluate potential risks and mitigation options for proposed solutions.
* Identify technology and process changes required to implement recommendations.
Business Analyst Requirements
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
* Proven experience in data modelling and business intelligence.
* Experience in designing and supporting end-to-end business solutions.
* Understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
* Strong technical writing skills and an eye for detail.
