We’re recruiting for a Cost & Assurance Accountant to support a high-profile nuclear infrastructure programme. This is a chance to step into a complex, regulated environment where your financial expertise directly impacts project delivery.
You’ll be part of a team driving large-scale engineering projects forward — ensuring cost accuracy, contract compliance, and audit readiness across the board. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to success.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing cost assurance and financial governance across multi-million-pound projects
Supporting applications for payment, supplier invoicing, and subcontractor cost tracking
Preparing for client audits and contributing to annual financial statements
Collaborating with project teams, resourcing, and commercial functions to keep everything aligned
Working with data, spreadsheets, and cost databases to ensure accuracy and transparencyWhat you’ll bring:

A background in cost accounting, project finance, or cost engineering
Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
Experience in regulated, engineering-led, or project-based environments
