A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Category Manager to join a growing retail business in the cosmetics sector. Based in Wakefield, this is a full-time office-based role offering a salary of £35,000 plus excellent benefits.
Our client, a well-established and reputable business with over 15 years in the industry, has a strong e-commerce presence and a reputation for partnering with premium skincare and beauty brands. This is a key role where youll be responsible for growing and managing supplier relationships and identifying new brand opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Manage and nurture relationships with existing beauty and skincare brands.
2. Develop and implement brand-specific plans to drive growth and market visibility.
3. Analyse brand performance data and recommend strategies for improvement or removal.
4. Collaborate with marketing, stock, and e-commerce teams to support launches and promotions.
5. Identify and negotiate with potential new brand partners, ensuring a successful onboarding process.
What Experience is Required
6. Proven experience managing supplier or brand relationships within the retail sector.
7. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, ideally within cosmetics or beauty.
8. Ability to analyse data and develop strategic growth plans for product categories.
Salary & Benefits
9. Salary of £35,000 per annum.
