Highland Health & Social Care Partnership delivers the full range of adult health and social care services in the largest and most sparsely populated part of Scotland. The remote and rural environment can present challenges in terms of transport and communications but it also offers some of the most beautiful scenery and exceptional outdoor recreational opportunities. The challenge of delivering healthcare across remote and rural communities provides the opportunity for new and innovative thinking in meeting those challenges.
Following a re-structure of medical leadership an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced GPs to join the Primary Care Leadership team. The sessional requirement for the post will be 2.5 sessions (10 hours) per week. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for a dedicated portfolio of work in Community Urgent Care/Flow Navigation.
This post would suit aspiring GPs seeking to develop a portfolio career. There are a range of GP vacancies that could be combined with these posts.
