Property Project Manager
Overview of the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Property Project Manager to join our team. You will work with the Head of Construction to deliver the annual capital development programme of refurbishments, new acquisition sites, and maintenance projects.
The role involves liaising with all levels within the business and external teams such as contractors, consultants, and suppliers. Stakeholder management and communication are key. Responsibilities include managing projects, monitoring budgets, and handling contract administration.
Due to the nature of the role, it involves travel to various locations. Driving is essential. Our Head Office is in Teddington, Middlesex, where you are expected to be based once a week, so please consider this when applying.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in producing briefs, programmes, phasing, and cost plans for projects.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
3. Attend progress meetings.
4. Prepare scopes for external consultants and manage contractual appointments.
5. Support procurement and tender processes.
6. Manage costs through formal financial controls and benchmarking.
7. Monitor and review project programmes.
8. Ensure compliance with legislation and external authorities.
9. Secure design approvals and financial sanctions.
10. Procure project designs, proposing cost-effective solutions that maintain brand standards and promote innovation and sustainability.
11. Manage internal and external teams and suppliers.
12. Deliver projects safely, within budget, to quality standards, and on schedule.
13. Minimize health and safety risks and implement CDM Regulations.
14. Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, liaising with statutory authorities and internal departments.
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in leisure or hospitality sectors.
* Track record of delivering multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of legal and statutory requirements for leisure projects.
* Experience managing medium to large retail fit-outs and construction projects.
* Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization and external partners.
