The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in amplifying our story, strengthening our digital presence, and driving engagement with our audiences. Role Purpose To lead the planning and delivery of BelEve’s marketing, communications, and brand strategy ensuring alignment with our 5 Strategic Pillars: Delivery, Impact, Partnerships, Revenue, and Culture. This role ensures that BelEve’s message is consistent, inspiring, and data-informed — driving growth in awareness, participation, and partnership engagement across all touchpoints (digital, events, schools, corporates, and community). Key Responsibilities 1.Strategic Marketing Leadership (Pillar – Vision & Impact) Lead the delivery of BelEve’s marketing and brand strategy, aligning all communication with organisational priorities and the CEO’s vision. Develop annual marketing plans that strengthen BelEve’s positioning as a leader in girl and youth development. Use data and insight (audience analytics, evaluation findings, competitor or partner activity, trends) to shape campaigns and messaging – evolving BelEve’s tone of voice and visual identity. Serve as brand guardian, ensuring all materials reflect BelEve’s tone, visual identity, and values. Creating tools, templates, and guidelines to help scale this influence - helping all colleagues in consistent communication and brand positioning Support the CEO in high-profile communications, speeches, and thought-leadership positioning. 2. Content & Digital Engagement (Pillar – Delivery & Impact) Oversee BelEve’s social media and content calendar ensuring alignment with programme delivery, campaigns, and events. Manage the website content, SEO strategy, ensuring fresh and engaging storytelling. and email marketing including regular newsletters and short-term campaigns e.g. fundraising. Produce engaging multimedia content (stories, reels, testimonials, visuals) that celebrates BelEve girls, mentors, and partners. Coordinate regular content collaboration with the Programmes and Mentoring teams to spotlight impact stories. Lead on all digital campaigns — International Women’s Day, Summer of Dreams, Table of Grace, and partnership activations. 3. Partnership & Brand Development (Pillar – Partnerships & Revenue) Develop co-branded campaigns and assets with corporate and school partners, enhancing value exchange. Support the CEO in preparing marketing collateral for funders, sponsors, and partnership proposals. Identify and manage PR opportunities, media coverage, and ambassador engagement to amplify BelEve’s voice. Ensure partnership deliverables are visible and measurable — e.g., logo placement, joint campaigns, features. 4. Campaigns & Events Marketing (Pillar – Delivery & Revenue) Lead on the marketing of all major BelEve campaigns and events (e.g., She Leads in Finance, A Table of Grace, LeadHerShip Awards). Design and execute integrated campaigns (digital in-person) that increase participation and fundraising engagement. Support recruitment campaigns for mentors, volunteers, and schools. Oversee creative design briefs, photography, and event branding. 5. Data, Systems & Evaluation (Pillar – Processes & Impact) Monitor and report on marketing analytics social engagement, web traffic, lead conversions, and reach. Maintain and optimise CRM and email systems to track audience journeys and generate audience insights. Produce quarterly marketing reports and insights for CEO and Board to inform decision-making. Work with the Evaluation Team to capture and showcase impact stories that demonstrate BelEve’s outcomes. 6. People, Culture & Collaboration (Pillar – Culture) Lead and mentor the Marketing Intern and creative volunteers, fostering growth and creativity. Model BelEve’s values and inclusive leadership in all communications. Promote collaboration across teams to ensure marketing is embedded in programme delivery and fundraising. Contribute to internal communications that build staff pride and engagement. Person Specification Essential 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, communications or brand management (preferably in youth, charity or social-impact sector). Strong digital marketing and content creation skills (social media, email, SEO, storytelling). Experience managing campaigns and analysing performance data. Excellent writing and communication skills; able to inspire and connect with diverse audiences. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. Commitment to BelEve’s mission, values, and inclusive culture. Desirable Experience working in youth development, gender equity or education sectors. Proficiency with Canva, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred). Experience in PR, influencer partnerships, or ambassador management.
