Offer description

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales and marketing team. Your main task is to find and qualify new business leads for our construction enterprise solutions Viewpoint in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, help them see the value of our products, and pass them to the Business Development team. This role is a good starting point if you want to grow into a full sales or account management role in the future.


Responsibilities

* Research and identify companies that could benefit from our software.
* Make contact and qualify leads via email, phone, and social media, understanding their needs and determining fit.
* Work closely with the sales team to ensure leads move through the process smoothly.
* Record and update all lead information in the CRM (Salesforce).

Location: In-office position at our Newcastle upon Tyne office. Work from the office 4 days per week. The station is a 5‑minute walk from the office, and onsite parking is available.


Qualifications

* Experience generating leads via multiple platforms.
* Ability to quickly develop and maintain deep product knowledge of divisional software.
* Knowledge of the construction industry (helpful but not essential).
* Strong customer‑service orientation and commitment to ensuring timely, quality solutions to customer issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listen effectively, transmit information accurately, and actively seek feedback.
* Experience updating a CRM such as Salesforce or similar is a plus.
