Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude.
* Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimise guest flow.
* Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area.
* Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Support social media management by capturing engaging content during service hours.
Skills
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere for creating promotional materials.
* Experience in video editing to produce engaging content for social media platforms.
* Strong journalism skills to craft compelling narratives about our restaurant's offerings.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interaction.
* Bilingual abilities are an advantage, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
* Knowledge of social media management strategies to promote the restaurant effectively.
