Main duties of the job

We’re offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to deliver specialist ADHD care within our dynamic CAMHS team. You will play a leading role in the assessment, prescribing, monitoring and holistic support of young people with ADHD.

In this role, you will:

5. Deliver high‑quality CAMHS assessments for children and young people.
6. Formulate evidence‑based, person‑centred treatment plans.
7. Provide a range of interventions for individuals, families and groups.
8. Work collaboratively with the Consultant and multidisciplinary team.
9. Support seamless transitions between community services, inpatient settings, and adult mental health services.
10. Coordinate referrals and work proactively with partner agencies to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

15. We want someone who brings:

Strong CAMHS experience and an understanding of the mental health challenges faced by young people. Confidence in managing moderate to severe mental health presentations. Skills and knowledge related to ADHD assessment and treatment, including prescribing and medication monitoring. A collaborative spirit and readiness to contribute to service development. Passion, drive and a genuine desire to make a difference.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
