Huron is seeking an experienced and inspirational leader to take on the pivotal role of Team Lead for our new Belfast‑based Delivery Center. This is a unique opportunity to build, mentor, and manage a highly skilled project team of consultants who form the operational heart of our European practice.
Responsibilities
Your Role: Manager - EPM / ERP Cloud Delivery
* Team Leadership & Mentorship: Directly manage the Belfast‑based team of EPM and ERP consultants, overseeing performance, managing workloads and utilization, providing regular coaching and feedback, and guiding career development and progression within Huron.
* Delivery Excellence & Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes, act as a key escalation point for project issues, and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Huron's exacting quality standards.
* Operational Management: Manage day‑to‑day project operations, including resource planning, project staffing in collaboration with European practice leaders, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team. Report on team performance to senior leadership.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers and Practice Leaders across Europe, acting as the primary liaison for the team in Belfast and ensuring seamless integration and communication between the Belfast team and the wider European practice.
Qualifications
* Experience: 8+ years of hands‑on project experience in consulting and implementing EPM or ERP cloud solutions, with at least 3 years in a formal team leadership or management role in a functional setting.
* Essential Background: Background in a Big 4, Accenture, or another top‑tier consulting firm is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in structured delivery methodologies and deep understanding of managing large, complex clients.
* Technical Expertise: Broad and deep understanding of the EPM and ERP cloud landscape, including leading platforms such as Oracle EPM/ERP, OneStream, Workday, or SAP. This knowledge is crucial for effective project oversight and quality assurance.
* Business Analysis Skills: Skilled in core Business Analyst skills, including business requirement gathering, system configurations, data modelling, and process mapping.
* Proven Leadership Skills: Exceptional leader with demonstrable experience in managing, mentoring, and motivating consulting teams. Excels at performance management, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive, high‑performance culture.
* Remote Management Experience: Proven ability to successfully manage and lead hybrid or distributed teams, understanding the unique challenges and success factors of this model.
* Client‑Facing & Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, interacting confidently with everyone from junior consultants to senior leadership and clients.
* Onsite Engagement: Primarily based in Belfast, with occasional travel to client sites across Europe for critical, high‑impact project milestones.
* Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Professional proficiency in another European language is a significant advantage.
