Are you an experienced early years practitioner looking to take the next step in your career? Meithrinfa Ser Bach is seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our nurturing and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role in a vibrant and caring setting, with specific responsibility for running our small preschool and older toddler room.
Key Responsibilities:
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery and be responsible for:
* Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the preschool and older toddler room
* Planning and delivering age-appropriate, stimulating, and engaging activities that support each child's learning and development
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, attendance, and safeguarding documentation
* Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and professionals to build strong relationships and ensure the best outcomes for children
* Leading and participating in regular team meetings, including recording minutes and following up on action points
* Supporting and guiding team members to maintain high standards of care and education
* Stepping in to complete administrative tasks and ensuring smooth nursery operations in the absence of the Nursery Manager
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
* Qualified to Level 3 in Childcare (or above)
* Experienced in an early years setting
* A strong communicator with excellent organisational and time management skills
* Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and committed to safeguarding and promoting child welfare
* Confident in supporting and motivating a team
* Able to maintain high standards of care, learning and nursery administration
