Job Description:
HRLife is looking for an HR Operations Manager for an initial 7-month FTC to cover a period of leave. The role involves managing a team of operational HR experts, working closely with the business to drive operational excellence, participating in projects, managing a high-performing team, and supporting the business as it grows.
You will be responsible for developing global standards, frameworks, and processes across HR operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance. Collaboration with global HR teams to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and support with escalated employee lifecycle issues is essential.
Additionally, you will oversee operational aspects related to expansion into new countries and support the global HRIS implementation.
This role is based in Oxford three days a week and remote two days a week, offering a dynamic environment for someone experienced in HR operations within a global context.
You will be involved in:
* Leading daily HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, employment changes, documentation, and offboarding.
* Line managing the EMEA HR Ops team, supporting their development and workload management.
* Ensuring service delivery aligns with business needs, compliance, and employee experience.
* Setting governance frameworks, SOPs, and quality standards globally.
* Defining processes and templates for onboarding, documentation, employee changes, and policy management.
* Collaborating with regional HR teams to embed standards and accommodate local compliance.
* Monitoring compliance with governance, escalating deviations as needed.
* Facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices globally.
* Leading cross-regional reviews for continuous improvement.
* Supporting setup of new operations and HR system implementations.
* Supporting change management and training for HRIS adoption.
* Managing global HR reporting, ensuring data accuracy for analytics.
* Supporting global mobility processes.
Essentially, candidates should have prior experience in a similar HR Ops role within a global business, managing a team focused on operational excellence and delivery.
